Want to see the concert of your life like when you were 20 but your babysitter is already dancing at the Montreux Jazz Lab? Parents, we’ve got you covered!
A free child care center is located adjacent to the Festival in the Royal Plaza hotel next to Park Vernex (Av. Claude Nobs 7, 1820 Montreux), entrance via Sinatra’s Bar’s terrace by the lake. Childcare professionals welcome your kids aged 3-10 in a sheltered oasis.
Opening hours
- Sunday-Thursday: 2:00 p.m. - 1 a.m.
- Friday-Saturday: 2:00 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Maximum 4-hour stay.
Young Planet
This project brings together Montreux youth workers with children and teenagers in order to promote smoke- and alcohol-free partying. This lakefront space – with no admission fee –offers creative activities, conversation, and fun, day and night!
- Monday-Friday: 5pm-midnight.
- Saturday & Sunday: 2pm-midnight.
Age for venue access
For safety reasons, children younger than 6 are not permitted to enter the concert halls, nor to access the Montreux Jazz Trains.
Teenagers younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult to access the concert halls. You must be 18 or older to enter the Liszto Club, Montreux Jazz Boats, El Mundo, Pool Parties, and shows on June 29th and July 12th at the Montreux Jazz Lab.
The organizers decline all liability for any injuries caused by failure to comply with this policy.
